I was sat in my old studio late one night, salivating as I navigated around the Letus website. I was going through the “I need to get a 35mm adapter” phase. After getting carried away, I managed to find myself at the checkout page. The total had come to nearly £7K, my cursor on the screen moved eagerly over the ‘Order Now’ button.
Since starting The C Project in April, I have been overwhelmed with the large amounts of people interested in collaborating on short film projects. Through the power of social media, I have also managed to discover extremely talented prop designers, photographers, composers, actors and VFX artists who have and are willing to give up their precious time for the programme.
It’s always great supporting local NI bands and it’s always great to see bands taking the music video side of things seriously. The MDAs contacted me a few months back about making a music video for their track ‘Stop Out Friday’. I always insist the band give me a rough concept for the video before I even begin writing and developing a script. They really liked the idea of having a Groundhog/ reoccurring element and that was all I needed
